Alongside academic exchange, the journey explores Singapore’s roots through living traditions. From studying tropical biodiversity with a botanist in the UNESCO Botanic Gardens to discovering Peranakan heritage in the colorful Katong district — and learning to make heirloom pastries that carry centuries of blended culture — the program balances cutting-edge innovation with intimate encounters. It is a journey that understands Singapore not only as a smart city of the future, but as a place where technology, nature, and identity evolve together.
